Despite the crap they wrote in our more recent history books saying our forefathers defeated British rule, it turns out multiple compromises are cleverly weaved into the final paperwork in the Treaty of 1783. This is six years after the Revolutionary War when few even were aware as you must remember there was no Internet… or TV …. or Radio. We did have early printing presses which it turns out made it very easy to control the narrative (in my humble opinion).
